Ladies Luncheon 25th June 2019

In celebration of the Queen’s 93rd birthday and a new royal baby, join us at The Lygon Arms as Professor Williams will talk about young Elizabeth and how she became our longest reigning Monarch.

Professor Kate Williams is a historian, author and broadcaster. She has written nine historical books, four novels and five history books, most recently on Mary Queen of Scots. She is Professor of History at Reading University and has presented series on TV and radio including Inside Versailles, The Stuarts, and Restoration Home, as well as commenting on historic and royal events on TV - including the weddings, funerals, jubilees - and the new Royal Baby!

Arrive at 11:30am for a welcome glass of Prosecco, followed by a two-course lunch, a glass of wine, tea and coffee
