Join us at The Lygon Arms, our 14th century coaching inn nestled on the High Street, Broadway, for a relaxed evening of fine whisky-infused dishes paired with Bowmore whisky for an early Burns Night celebration.
Bowmore, the original Islay was the first licensed Islay distillery. Stood on the shores of Loch Indaal, a sea loch opening out into the wild Atlantic Ocean since 1779. Still operating in traditional ways, honouring the original whisky making techniques is still hand crafted creating the unique and timeless house style of Bowmore.
David Miles is the Senior Whisky Ambassador for Edrington UK. A lover of all things whisky, he is never happier than when sharing his enthusiasm and passion for the spirit. This love affair started when he was working in some of London’s top cocktail bars many years ago, including 57 Jermyn Street. He then went on to open bars in Mumbai, Tel Aviv and Amsterdam, where he lived for some years before returning to London. David moved from bars to join what was then called Maxxium, one of the major drink’s companies in the country, and which is now known as Edrington UK.
David is really looking forward to sharing stories, information, and most importantly, Bowmore, with the guests at The Lygon Arms Burns Night event.
